By accessing or using the Medical Benevolence Foundation website located at MBF.org (the “Site”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use (“Terms”). MBF seeks to steward its online presence with integrity, transparency, and respect for those we serve and those who support our mission.

By accessing or using the Medical Benevolence Foundation website located at MBF.org (the “Site”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Site.
MBF seeks to steward its online presence with integrity, transparency, and respect for those we serve and those who support our mission.
Medical Benevolence Foundation (“MBF,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to the Site. Your continued use of the Site after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. Your use of the Site is also governed by MBF’s Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
2. About MBF
Medical Benevolence Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization incorporated in the State of Texas. MBF’s mission is to strengthen mission hospitals, clinics, colleges, and schools through organizational, clinical, and spiritual impact in underserved regions around the world. Donations to MBF are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law.
3. Intellectual Property
3.1 MBF Content
All content on the Site, including but not limited to text, photographs, impact stories, videos, graphics, logos, and the MBF name and brand marks, is the property of Medical Benevolence Foundation or its content partners and is protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
3.2 Permitted Use
You may access and view Site content for personal, non-commercial informational purposes. You may share links to Site pages. You may not:
- Reproduce, distribute, or republish Site content without prior written permission from MBF
- Use MBF’s name, logo, or brand marks without written authorization
- Modify or create derivative works based on Site content
- Use Site content for any commercial purpose
3.3 Field Photography and Stories
Photographs, patient stories, and field reports published on this Site involve real individuals and communities. Reproduction or use of this content without express written consent from MBF is strictly prohibited and may violate the privacy rights of the individuals depicted.
4. Online Donations
4.1 Processing
Online donations are processed securely through MBF’s third-party payment processor. MBF does not store credit card or financial account information on its servers. By submitting a donation, you represent that you are the authorized account holder or have authorization to use the payment method provided.
4.2 Tax Receipts
MBF will provide a tax receipt for all donations. Donors are responsible for consulting with a tax advisor regarding the deductibility of their contribution.
4.3 Designated Gifts
Donors may designate gifts to a specific program, country, or initiative. MBF will use designated gifts as directed whenever possible. However, if a project is canceled, completed, fully funded, or no longer requires funding, MBF reserves the right to prayerfully reallocate such funds to other Christ-centered medical ministry initiatives that further MBF’s mission. Donors with questions about gift designations may contact MBF directly.
4.4 Refund Policy
Donations are generally non-refundable. If you believe a donation was made in error, please contact MBF within 30 days of the transaction athello@mbf.org. MBF will review refund requests in good faith and on a case-by-case basis consistent with its stewardship responsibilities and applicable law.
4.5 Recurring Gifts
Donors who establish recurring giving may cancel or modify their recurring gift at any time. Cancellations will take effect before the next scheduled processing date if received with sufficient notice.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes. You may not:
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Site or its related systems
- Introduce viruses, malware, or other harmful code to the Site
- Use automated systems, bots, scraping tools, or artificial intelligence tools to extract, reproduce, or analyze Site content without MBF’s prior written permission
- Impersonate MBF or any MBF staff member or partner
- Use the Site in any manner that could damage, disable, or impair its operation
- Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information through any Site form
