Serve Beyond
For experienced healthcare professionals
Use your expertise where it is needed.
Serve alongside healthcare professionals at MBF partner hospitals, bringing your experience to areas of identified need while teaching, mentoring, and strengthening care for the future.
Your Experience Can Strengthen Care Beyond Your Time There.
Serve Beyond connects experienced healthcare professionals with opportunities to serve alongside clinicians at MBF partner hospitals.
Every opportunity begins with the needs of the hospital. Depending on specialty, timing, and fit, volunteers may contribute through clinical service, teaching, mentoring, skills transfer, or other areas identified by local healthcare leaders.
Through shared learning and service, volunteers contribute their expertise while also learning from healthcare professionals who know their patients, communities, and institutions best.
The goal is not simply to meet a short-term need. It is to strengthen people and clinical capacity so excellent, Christ-centered healthcare can continue and multiply through local hands.

Serve Alongside. Learn Together. Strengthen What Lasts.
MBF believes meaningful medical mission begins by listening.
Serve Beyond opportunities respond to priorities identified by local healthcare leaders. Volunteers enter established relationships with hospitals and healthcare professionals who know their patients, communities, and institutions best.
That means coming ready not only to share your expertise, but also to listen and learn.
Together, we seek to strengthen people, skills, and systems so excellent care can continue long after a volunteer returns home.

Listen First
Honor the experience, leadership, and cultural context of the healthcare professionals and communities you serve alongside.
Pursue Excellence
Bring your professional expertise in support of compassionate, high-quality healthcare.
Strengthen Local Leaders
Share knowledge and skills in ways that equip healthcare professionals and strengthen local capacity.
Serve with Humility
Bring your faith and expertise with integrity, compassion, and a willingness to learn.
Multiply What You Know.
Your expertise was built over years of training, practice, challenges, and experience. Serve Beyond creates an opportunity to share what you have learned—and to learn from healthcare professionals serving in a different context.
A skill shared. A clinician encouraged. A relationship formed. Knowledge carried forward.
When healthcare professionals strengthen one another, the impact can reach far beyond a single visit.
Through Serve Beyond, MBF seeks to equip, deliver, and multiply—strengthening people, supporting excellent care, and mobilizing healthcare professionals to participate in Christ’s healing mission.
