All MBF programs and partnerships are guided by the MBF Statement of Ethics for Care, which defines our commitment to impartial, need-based service, equitable access, and alignment with international humanitarian and medical standards.
MBF's ethic of service is grounded in a commitment to humanity, impartiality, and integrity — addressing both physical and spiritual needs as part of whole-person care, including emotional, relational, and faith-informed support where appropriate. Inspired by the restoring mission of Jesus and aligned with widely recognized humanitarian and medical ethics, we strengthen health systems, support the delivery of high-quality care, and develop leaders who serve with compassion, excellence, and integrity.
We strive to prevent and alleviate suffering wherever it is found, upholding the dignity and inherent worth of every individual. We serve all people based on need alone — regardless of religion, background, identity, or circumstance — ensuring that care is never conditional upon belief, response, or participation in religious activity. We are committed to equitable access, consistent quality standards, and focused attention on those who are most vulnerable and underserved.
Guided by principles of ethical care and mutual respect, we work in partnership with local communities — listening first, honoring cultural context, and strengthening the leadership of local institutions to sustain and continually improve healthcare delivery. Our approach reflects a spirit of service and responsible stewardship — not driven by personal gain, but by humility, solidarity, and a shared responsibility to deliver compassionate, accountable, and high-quality care that endures.
